Is there a way out of the problems at work? The three local town councils of Zwolle, Kampen and Zwartewaterland still don't see that they have to pay a decent price for the services that we provide to their citizens. Even if we merge with an other organisation they will have to pay at least for the costs we have. Could somebody please tell those ignorant bastards...

De laatste lootjes van het IFFR

Het Filmfestival is al weer over - wat gaan tien dagen toch snel om als je de hele dag in de film mag zitten. Ik heb erg genoten en had mezelf nog op een vuurwerk getrakteerd op de laatste dag van het festival met op de eerste plaats Eden. Wat een heerlijke zwijmelfilm met lekker eten. Helemaal in de stijl van Bella Martha, maar dan natuurlijk heel anders...
Op de tweede plaats komt Opal Dream het Australische familie-epos uit Coober Pedy.
Nummer drie en mijn persoonlijk slotfilm van het festival was Wrong Side Up een Tsjechische film met wat rare kronkels, mooie grappen en een wrang einde.
