1000 & 1 dag

Kaandorp slechte kritieken? Laat ze maar zeggen wat ze willen, ik vond het wel een overwegend goede show!
Ja, er waren wat minpuntjes (de band was naar mijn smaak wat te prominent en te hard aanwezig en als het om haar kinderen gaat raakt La Kaandorp pas goed op dreef), maar de “over all” indruk was toch positief. Voor meer informatie over de show klik eens hier.

Sailing Away…

Last weekend the male neighbors were invited to join a sail turn on the boat of my neighbor Jan. It was the first time we did such a thing here in the neighborhood but I must say it was definitely fun! Besides that it was a good opportunity for me to unwind.

After a foggy start we had great weather (warm and sunny). Too bad that we didn’t have enough wind for the sails, so we sailed mainly on engine power.

For me the day ended with a climb into the 13m high mast. The view from the “crow’s nest” was fantastic.

Afgelopen weekend was het eerste buurmannen-zeil-weekeinde van deze buurt. Drie buurmannen en Erik mochten een dagje mee op de zeilboot van buurman Jan. Het was een prachtige ervaring en voor mij gelijktijdig een kans om wat meer tot rust te komen (de stress op het werk nadert een climax).

Na een mistige start hadden we warm en zonnig weer. Jammer alleen dat er niet genoeg wind stond om echt te zeilen. We moesten het voornamelijk van de motor in de boot hebben.

Voor mij eindigde de dag met een klim in de 13m hoge mast. Het uitzicht uit het kraaiennest was fantastisch.

Cachorro = Bear Cub

We hebben er lang op moeten wachten, maar het wachten werd beloond. Afgelopen donderdag ging Cachorro in Nederland in premiere. Drie dagen later hebben Erik en ik hem gezien en heel wat traantjes weggepinkt. Maar gelukkig was er ook humor in de film en stikte het natuurlijk van de "eye-candy". Ga zelf maar eens kijken!

We've waited a long time, but finally we got our reward. Bear Cub (Cachorro in Spanish) came in roulation in The Netherlands last Thursday. Only three days later Erik and I were admiring all the eye-candy, laughing at the jokes and crying when it got too emotional. But go and see it yourself!

Achitectour in Amsterdam

Leslie's visit to Amsterdam was a good reason for Erik and me to take the achitec-tour over the Islands in the Eastern Harbour Area. Erik lives not far from the Islands (and we even found his new house there. Now he only needs to find a sugar daddy to make his dreams come true, LOL. And me? ...well I hope there will be a room in Erik's now home for me as well...)

Leslie is really sweet bear cub and we wish we had him over a little longer, though it is getting pretty cold in house when he is smoking at the open window. Hihihihi... Of course we did some bear stuff as well: Shopping, having dinner in a fancy Italian restaurant, doing the nightlive tour, ...
