De tosti kaas/banaan is in ieder geval te koop in het superbehoudende Kampen (Overijssel). Dus als je ooit in de buurt bent....

Last Thursday we had a holiday here in NL. Great!!! What a wonderful relaxing time. Michael came over from Frankfurt and we did some touristy stuff.
Saturday - shopping and two birthdays in my neighbourhood, that we wanted to attend. We had so much fun and much too much drinks. So yesterday we spent nearly the whole day watching series 5 of Six Feet Under (that Erik gave me for my birthday).

Dordt in Stoom

It was a busy weekend in Dordrecht with our friends Jos & Yaser. But what's better then sharing you biggest disappointment (about the Eurovision Song Contest) with good friends. Who could have known that the Finnish hard rock band "Lordi" would end as the best European song in the contest. The fact that they made it through the semi-finals was quite a surprise, but winning the contest was just a smack in the face.

Next day we sent our time cruising for bears (or better "nice woofies" as Yaser uses to call them) while we pretended to be interested in old steam engines.

We ended the day installing some hard- and software for my ex-lovers new computer. And fell in bed after an eventful train ride to Amsterdam "Ladies and gentlemen, we have to stop the train here, because of a bomb alarm at the airport". (Fortunately for us the bomb alarm lasted only ten minutes :-) )

After Queensday we spent a week in Catalunya (Spain). We hung around on the beach but "did" some culture as well.
So we went to Figueres to the Dalí Museum, to Sitges and to Barcelona. A week without one thought of work was wonderfull refreshing.

Queensday 2006 was very cold in Amsterdam. We had a great time though but we were all happy when we could go to Jan and Timon's boat for a plate of hot pasta in the cozy houseboat. Thanks guys!
