Blogging, my last priority...

Since James is here in Zwolle, blogging seems to be my last priority. Of course I don't want it that way, it just happened to be that way. Or as Harry brought it to the point: "I gave the two of you enough time together, now it's time to talk..."
Well let me start with the migration thing then. James arrived in Amsterdam right on time after an uneventful flight. (And I was there with the car after many traffic jams, right on time as well.) He had managed to sleep some on the plane and I tried to surprise him with a pick-nick in a park in Amsterdam (that I had prepared the evening before).
The next day we did all our migration stuff. Making passport pictures, register at the city and our appointment at the immigration service (IND). All went really pretty smooth. Right away James got his temporary residence permit and within two weeks James had his social service number (BSN). Right now he is at work for a week now in Dordrecht.
The only bad thing about the work is that is so far away. James has a horrible commute every day. We get up at 5 AM and I bring him to the station at 5.30 AM. If everything goes well with NS (Dutch railway) he is back home at 7.45 PM in the evening.
